So what is in a name?
A form of address?
Pursuit of a game?
May I, may you?
Why don’t we see through

They call upon her lesser days
To take apart our broken ways
When she and I - Yes us, not you!
Have come to pass our points of view

Where were these harlequins
Afore the now charlatans
The brief, but separation past
A bitter cast, for the wavering mast

Whose only thoughts
If brokered be
To have you leave
Lest “suffer” thee

They step in front
I stand, “Ahem!”
Where were these “righteous”
When it didn’t suit their pious

Call your move
Place your piece
I’ve had enough
Either way, it will cease

My only hope is
She forgets their ways
And together or apart
We play on to better days
