Another night of
Branks and bridles
Bitch slap confessionals
Legless fools
Paying homage to
Drunken dogs

Baying wolves
Howling
Hoping
To swallow the moon

A three ring circus
Masters of puppets
Calling card entourage
Glass eyes
White-line-fever
Wiretap halo
Shotglass symphony

A cold room
With no view
Blackened windows
Blackened hearts
Highway leeway

*BANG*

The Devil dances…

Clean it up
Let’s go for a drink!

(The sun longs to bring her home; but any warmth
is lost to the cold moon that holds her)
