Chathamina Lush

I wish I didn’t have to work tomorrow
Not have to face the pain or the sorrow
Of those who have lost, paid the cost
Of ambitions and hopes too high
For mere mortals to fulfill
This burden is mine, not yours to view
I wish, I wish, I knew something new
Down here in deep blue

Sea

I lost me, a long time ago
Lost in soft sublime drug overflow
To the abyss that lays far below
Too many things I thought I know
Till snow
Covers everything
I wish we were

Embossed in kiss
True love tenderness
Instead the mess and mass of human reality
Of what is you and what is me
I wish I could see
Some free

September fall
Call. Out your name into emptiness void
Of nothingness, wish was just devoid
Of poignant apathies
A cuss or a kiss
Ether way I could win
Just give in
To the void

Instead hold on
To the dream and the one
And all that has shone
Cubby-hole hidden from all who could see
The me,
Pursing ear-drums cotton-buds too tight
For anything right

Tissues at the end
Of everything

This was a very beautiful work. And I love the picture. This is getting faved. Absolutely compelling and thought provoking. The imagery was beautifully done and the rhymes were not forced. Again, beautiful. ~Angel
