In the silence...

He loves me
He loves me not
He loves me
He loves me not

Tick tock, tick tock
No more cradle to rock

N roll with you baby
If you will

He loves me
He loves me not
He loves me
He loves me not

Silly little girl dreams
Into stormy seas screamed
Prayers of lust and hope
Smashed into shingle shores

He loves me
He loves me not
He loves me
He loves me not

Knock knock knock
On the doors of denial
Break through into blinding white light
Retreat to all too familiar shadowlands
Is safer there

He loves me
He loves me not
He loves me
He loves me not

The despair of true desire exists within
Burning up and itching my skin
Bursting my mind with fusion fantasies
Impossible to fulfil

He loves me
He loves me not
He loves me
He loves me not

Building an ache, a need to know
If this feeling will ever be allowed to flow
All over your skin snuggled up and deep within
Your breathe

He loves me
He loves me not
He loves me
He loves me not

Now both become true and don’t know what to do
Instead stay here, not touching the phone, not waiting for you
To come through
Just in case.

He loves me
He loves me not
He loves me
He loves me not
