7 o'clock, you're not home,
I wonder.

8 o'clock, still not home,
I ponder.

9 o'clock, not a call,
I worry.

10 o'clock, you're still gone.
I hurry.

11 o'clock, you're far away,
I cry.

12 o'clock, my heart will break,
I die.

Slowly fade away and die atop
burnt cigarettes and broken
beer bottles.
