The beads crawl down the earthy spine
from where the mountains kiss the sky.
To sing the song of June in its loveless fountain.
Waiting for your breath to press its lips
On mine just like the moon beams kiss the sea.

Tracing your breasts with Eden’s fragrance
With the mist of Aphrodite’s sea foam.
Tonight I break the chains of
Your longing.
Tomorrow I’ll hide the scars.

Echo previous comments. I've only just come to appreciate the weight of words in poetry. This does not ring hollow.
