Flushing strings of surreal waves of wheat.
Birthing one thousand ballerinas
dancing on my tongue
flickering new moons
of enchanting relaxation.

Dropping my limbs like willow tree branches
casting shade on southern boy's lamb.
Gracing the earth young, cooling its thirst.
Silencing the blade of the voices
that crawl beneath the skin and
hide in the shadows of my mind.

Swallowing toxic desires of lust,
embracing the longing for bed's warmth.
A flash of the future calling
on my blurry vision.

Beer is a wonderful thing.
