Sleep cannot dance upon my eyes
without your heart's goodnight.

because the beauty of the sunset's
burning halo is dull and unrequited
without the beauty of your words.

and the glory of midnight's moon and dancing stars
is far too cold without the warmth of your soft goodnight.

i forever need your late night lullaby.

I love this. It is so sweet and heart felt. Usually I am really up eat and hyper, but reading this calmed me down, made me take a breath and read it several times over. I am awed by your ability to write. ~Angel
