The snow leaves our footsteps
Imprinted upon the imperfect white
We crash into the surface
That should never have been broken
And the trees call at us, so mangled
In the desolate breeze, breaking the night

Can I keep following you
Into the the vast darkness?
Will you ever let me free?
Or will we keep playing this hide and seek game
Until I fall through the ice
And you lose me

Lost among the woods
The ground just keeps on breaking
It's your choice to make
Until the time is abated
Secret motives remain unseen
Hold on now or let me sink
