I long for the touch of your heart
Almost like your gentle hand brushing my cheek
Which never existed
Except inside of me

The tears fall down
Blood streaming down my wrists
All at the very thought
Of what can never be.

You are so gone from me
Yet you live inside the depths of my heart
Waiting for the chance to escape
And to be freed from your stained chains

But you have yet to untie yourself
From the very bonds which you made
To feel the full extent of the pain
Until then you are trapped.
