Wake up, cousin
No more time for sleep
Today
Rise to walk washed
Pale morning sun
Part blackbird curtains
Casual
Find your way
Back to Eden

Cut off left arm
To show you
Understand
Wolfhair brush dips
Swirls peace and war
Uneasy clockwork quiet
Fragile bone cage
Saint bird flutters
Yearns to be free

Over the stars
Weeping bright bullets
Each tear a spinning
Chamber trigger pull
Choice
Each snap and heartbeat
Echo
Breathless attrition
Attenuate

Cheshire Cat moon
Mocking grin
Wind rolling dice
Gnawed fingerbone trees
Scuttle of insect leaves
Deathless dreams
Falling forever
Since they took my wings
Icarus was right to try

I love poetry that cannot be fully absorbed the first time around.I think this is my favorite chorus yet.

I hear melancholly guitar slides, and runny bass lines whenever I read your stuff. I'd love to hear this spoken word, over an acoustic track. Or even sung like lyrics. Fuck yeah. Good work.
