And what briar rein
Would choke
Drive the poet?
Bone key forged
words
          words
                    words
Cooled by falling tears
Barb-tail bit rips
Singing mouths
Dreamer blood pours
Out
Pale lilies bloom

And what sighing chain
Could crush
Bind the poet?
Jeweled pins separate
heart
         beat
                 heart
Drown in falling tears
Inkquill fingers sew
Singing mouths
Dreamer flame
Shudders
Bright rose withers

And what silver pain
Should break
Silence the poet?
Dowsing scalpel hesitates
ember
           seed
                    hope
Defy falling tears
Scarred beautiful
Singing mouths
Dreamer words burn
Night shudders

to Hear us Howl
