Each step mirrors
Break
Wait
Just puddles sigh
Rushing sky
Wet footsteps pass
Countless feet
All going
And then gone

Railroad wind whips
Coattails
Faces talk beside me
Hear only
Turning wheels
Iron gallop roll
Long whistle shakes
Patient ladder track
Cars scream protest

River color flows
Past my humble stone
Slow walk
Hands apocket head
Bowed solemn
Priest walk
Crunch underfoot
Oak trees shudder
My acorn foetus steps

Time stands unmoved
Youth walks toward
Wormy earth
The crown of salt
‘Neath its pearl face
Columns of steam billow
White dissipate
Echo of voices distant
Just another rainy day

You're poetry is like standing out on your porch, in a clear windy day, and catching snatches of noise carried on the breeze, like bits and pieces of a story. And all that together makes the big picture.
