City lights
Melt
Away smudged rearview
Halo glow fades distant
Late (early?) long road
Gospel night
Moonlit kudzu
Smell woodsmoke
Creek water
Listen

Guitar string
Sacrament angel mind
Forgive me
For
I
Have
Sinned
And been sinned
Against silk bound midnight
Forgives all

Night wind
Lonely
Tells stories for
Children stop listen
Cloud fist clench
Sainted shadow dance
Between holy headlights
Guardrail teeth grin
Fog soft neon veins
Which way?

Light again
Baleful specter mother
Birthing gas stations
Video store, drive-in
Every blurring beckoning
Consumer wallet coffin
Graveyard dirt spare change
Prayers on cigarette smoke
Rise
Seek great empty again

Before the story ends

I'm suprised this wasn't about masturbating. Nonetheless another great write. Very hypnotic. "Consumer wallet coffin Graveyard dirt spare change Prayers on cigarette smoke" great.

your words always seem to be an ambiguous outline of the real; of experience; of some kind of otherness. ... intricate and hypnotic
