magical eyes blinded
by the morning light
the daily fright
the all day sting
the angels and demons
all dying in my bed
it was imagined, then it was said.
now the whole dream is dead.

in this hopelessness
i found
nothing
but my head on the bedroom floor
eyes glued to the ceiling
my bodies a whore.

everything
i use
to make this easier
is feeding on my brain and liver.

it's my own snakes hiding in the grass
it's me that's destroying my past.
there's no one left to blaim,
it's my fault that my life won't last.

you thought you knew me
(so did i)
so you thought you knew where i was going?
just remember, when i don't know,
i lie.

Just let me go
if i thought i was worth saving
i'd do it myself.
let me wallow in my ignorance,
just say goodbye.

~stumbing though the brush, making my own path~
