The death of a day slowly fading away
A birth of a night let's me roam as I may
In need to feed this insatiable hunger
And taste the soul that stirs in another

The sight of her vision in satin sheets flowing
Ghosts of my image haunt her sweet mourning
Opaque in state my darkened dreamscape
Glide to me, breathe in, and awake

Flames flicker and dance in motion tonight
Romance cascades our midnight delight
Two bodies entwine possessing each other
Moments with you I'll share with no other

Dancing on air lights shimmer the ocean
Moonlit silhouette in elegant motion
We dance to the moans of torment we make
While moments count down to the time we awake

Scorched by the light our time so profound
Dreams that once soared crash down to the ground
The limits we've known that keep us abound
Relentless pursuit casts out and surround

The lust that I hide when I live in the day
Exposed in the night while you sleep as you lay
I'll hide in the shadows while darkness awaits
Then have you again as its part of your fate
