Growing steady over time
Streams of thought flow through my mind
Just a few to make a drop
Raging faster without stop

Not quite full but filling fast
How long can the nightmares last
Dread the day it splashes down
Consuming me until I drown

Searching for a mental drain
A safety valve to ease my pain
An empty space for fallen dreams
Easing pressure from the seams

Wondering if it will last
My fluid thoughts are dark and vast
Perhaps the way to shut it down
Is when I'm buried underground
