Poem, Kenneth James

Even in this place I stand,
I won’t just merely take your hand,
And walk into this gracious land,
Of love and plans,
And folded hands,
Of boys and girls
Who love each other,
Stare into the eyes
Of one another,
We will fall deeply
Into the arms of
Solitude and
Timeless love.

P.S. It's only a quickie, but I thought I'd post it anyway.

Poem, Kenneth James

Pain builds up inside,
Just looking for a release.
Then I look into your eyes,
And all hurt is appeased.

I seem to be enclosed in turmoil,
Lost – nothing works out right,
But I found something to cool my boil;
A man to keep me up at night.

As I feel his touch,
As I know I am in love,
I see him so much,
Then flies away my dove.

What to do now?
I am not myself.
I must win him back somehow,
Get my heart back to health.

I put my plan into action,
But I see him laugh
With another girl.
The bullet’s in the gun,
But I change my path.

Hanging out with prostitutes,
I act like I’m fine.
I take the news
Like just another line.

As I’m making my choice
Of who to sleep with first,
I hear that wonderful voice,
My heart about to burst.

He wants me back again,
He wants another try,
And before my words begin,
From the inside out I cry.

Pretty neat. Short and sweet. It's got some nice imagery. Might wanna touch up the flow of the rhyme a bit if you can, but it's still pretty good as is. Well done. =]
