Your sly lies
Slither out of your mouth
With a fork-tongued rhyme
And a fork-tongued sound.

Your eyes chime,
Emitting devils’ spray,
Numbing my mind
And breaking my willful ways.

Your cries hypnotize
And draw me near,
Quieting my surprise
And telling me what I want to hear.

Why do you lie
When I am around,
Instead of sharing the prize
Of the love that we’ve found?

It started out very promising. I love the first stanza. Wish you expanded more on this though.

I'm not fond of rhyme, but this carried the black charm we are so fond of here. Welcome to DP. ~b
