I am no longer the forgiving kind,
For I let heartbreak make up my mind.
A nameless, roguish boy from the past
Will make sure that no other love will last.
I stand alone in a field of budding foliage.
They encircle my thoughts with their majestic
And splendid arrays of smells and scents
I am enveloped by its delicate prominence
This wonderfully crafted gift of nature has inspired
Songs...
Poetry…
And Love...
They gather so much adoration and veneration
With their marvelous pallet of luminous colors.
So, still alone, I give-in to contemplation;
Why has true love not found me among the flowers?
