Please wake me up...
Please open my eyes
and breathe your words of life into me again.
I beg you to deliver
down upon my scratched and dirty knees,
I beg you to be my saviour
your halo of wisdom
and unconditional love...
This dirty creature alive in my soul,
this parched ocean of nothingness
falling and devouring all I am.
The flames of darkness lingering
eating alive my aching heart,
talons of icy regret
ripping
pulling me to shreds...
I have no words for you tonight
nothing tomake it all okay,
make it golden.
Somedays all I need
is to bleed and know I'm alive,
rigth now I need you
need to hear your heart beating
need to hear that it's beats are that of love
in syn with my own pounding chest.
And sorry is never enough,
it cannot remove the stains
I've left
it cannot sweeten the fowl aftertaste;
but if eternity will prevail
and you'll gaze your eyes upon me forever
well maybe then
I can prove how much Ilove you...
