Entanglement of ribbons
Grey, in the air
A knot
That will undo itself

If you follow these ribbons
Down, and down still
An entanglement of thoughts
By itself

Burning relaxation
Smoke rings, and grey
Can't untie the thoughts
But there is hope yet

See through the grey
And follow the smoke
To the knot behind
The lit cigarrette

Pull a few strings,
Blow a few rings,
Look into the clean air
At the center,

Tangle that hope
In the thoughts that you smoke
But stifle the knot
At the filter
