Fairy tales and iron sails
Are all I have
To keep me going
Wrought with anger,seeping into
Fires of a dying song
of love and hate, I try to sate
the sea water,
I'm so thirsty,
So tired
A midsummer's nightmare in my mind.
Tales of fairies, and wings of lead
are all that I have keeping me going.
The fire is dying... with my rage,
So I cling to the hope
of a better death
than the wolf of Red Riding Hood
To keep me warm.
Waves of black water
Washing over me,
Washing me out,
Cleansing me,
Purging me of sin.
. . .
I'm sunken in the waves of regret,
But purgatory is not eternal.
