One day I'll know the truth,
why they fought over you
and in the end it broke
their necks in two.

Three days had come and passed,
you were indifferent.
They bled from arms and hearts
for your love.

Took off our black leather gloves
to see what
the world had done to itself
and you're what.

And when the sun grew dim
they all were caught up in
the battle for your eyes
and your heart.

The war was over when
No side could lose or win
they fell into the pit
of your love.

Took off our black leather gloves
to see what
the world had done to itself
and you're what. [x2]

It was you.
You looked at me through the fields.
'Cause you
took them away with smiles and
promising your time when
we both knew.

Took off our black leather gloves
to see what
the world had done to itself
and you're what. [x2]

"The war was over when No side could lose or win" Very well crafted- "You looked at me through the fields." Simply, stunning. "And when the sun grew dim." ~Bravo [x2].
