I don't remember believing in God,
but maybe I should start praying
because angels are dancing around me
and teaching me the water is clean.

I have a habit of murder,
but I could never harm a creature that she said she loved.
She must mean it when she calls it beautiful.

And she must mean it when she looks at you.
Nothing can squeeze hearts that quickly and sew bonds that easily
without being a promise.

"She must mean it when she calls it beautiful." A beautiful poem for a beautiful poet by another beautiful poet. Can beautiful be mentioned too many times? Doesn't matter, this is a truly lovely poem.
