I love to meet your gaze
and feel that static shock that says,

"I AM!"

...nothing more than a ghost;
the mist leftover from the boiling morning dew.

I keep reaching out
to wrap around you;
you never seem to notice.

wish I knew who you saw
when you look right through me.
