Are you a mainstay?
..drip...
.drip....
what a crock
that I can't envision
what stress
will break my knots.

It's such a quick trip
...chirp..
....chirp.
to a corner
where the sweeper
cleans edges
that can't be seen.

I just motor on
.sniffle.
..sob..
through the windows
my fingers control,
there's no escape
I can enter.

Overflowing with nothing
.. ...
... . .
like two-day cola
gone flat
nobody cares
if I spill.

Lonely in a house full of people, FULL of the anxiety at being in such a state, yes. Hurting too much to stay, yet much to afraid to walk away.
