To explain.... I saw a few pictures of a daisy chain one day, wee beautiful flowers woven together to form different things, like a bracelet, a crown, a necklace, etc. Several days later, the artist posted new pictures of that same daisy chain series, brown and wilting... it stirred a creative thought process in which daisies are always mentioned. Other than that, it's just my insanity. Here are a few I could find, and if you search my works, the "INSANE" daisy chain is there as well. I do intend to keep adding to this daisy chain as the muse strikes me with inspiration, and hopefully, you'll enjoy the whimsical darkness that daisies bring out in me.

Daisy Chain (the original)
I imagined us once,
as flowers...
free to be what we were.
You and I
dancing freely in the wind,
never having to wish
for anything
farther than the next morning.
Waking up in fear,
I looked over
and you were gone.
I still felt the wind
and soaked in the sun,
but now, that annoying fucking noise...
sputter... buzz... whir...
lets me know that my daisy chain world
can never survive...
the mower.
Daisy Chain, part 2
I'm beautiful,
exquisite,
golden and free!
I once imagined
everyone
looking at me!
Dancing
and laughing,
I once lived in glee!
Until, when,
one day,
I could finally see...
I'm just a fucking daisy
in a world full of roses.
Daisy Chain... yet another
Daisies in hand,
I think I bit off more than I could chew
when I knocked on your door.
You should have thrown them in my face.
Daisies in hand,
I offered what I had to another
when I knocked on her door.
She did what you should have done.
Daisies at hand,
I lay my head down to rest,
and looking up through their roots, I think...
These daisies, at last, may make someone smile.
Daisy Chain, part... whatever
I almost crowned you my princess,
and I even wove your crown,
brightly glowing,
it was made of daisies.
Isn't it a shame...
by the time I'm knight enough
to give it to you,
the daisies will all be brown?
