i want you to smile with me,
so close i can feel your breath
on my neck,
to be standing so close to you
breathing the same very air,
inhaling every piece of you.
make me grin
upon your entry.
whether on a snowmobile
or your sexy car,
let it be known
that you have come.
smirk at me from sideways
so i’ll have to giggle back.
the stereo keeps pounding
and i don’t hold back my laugh.
you drop your keys and beam towards me
and again i smile,
because of you.

every second
spent with you
is another second
i smile.
