Take me to the darkness
where you touch to see my face;
hands softened by the dampness,
your tongue sweeter to the taste.
Sit with me in silence
in the backseat of this truck.
Enjoy my faded presence
and stop my words from getting stuck.
Pull me to your body close,
run those fingers through my hair.
Tell me how you love me most
with bright blue eyes you stare.
Wrap your arms around me,
hold me like you won’t let go.
Kiss my lips so softly
as we bring to life a show.
Perform with me a lovely play;
whisper song into my ear.
Sing to me while here we lay
for all the world to hear.
Trace your fingers down my spine,
look towards the setting sun.
We melt as the heat rises
and together we are one.
