he stepped
into the backseat
gracefully.
the same grace
i've never had.
he sat next to me,
and his hand crawled
from his lap to mine.
they passed the peice
to the back
and he lit it up,
while i waited
for my shotgun.
our lips met
and he filled my lungs
deeply, powerfully.
as i pulled away
i exhaled and
inhaled again as
i leaned in to kiss him.
we were children again
when he told me
that my mouth was amazing,
"you don't even know."
his mouth was strangley absent
of busch light and rootbeer barrels.
he was oddly delicious.
i looked towards the window
and chills ran down my spine.
i could hear his warm breath
linger in my ear
and he kissed my neck,
resonating tingles on my shoulder.
we looked like
two red-eyed demons
making out in the backseat
of his best friends car...
