feelings stay, and seem to grow
even as memories get old
still i see that fire there
in your eyes, you really care
withered thoughts, and darkened mind
i've tried to leave it all behind
but, here you lurk within my heart
filling and tearing it apart
and i see your angel face
deep inside, makes my heart race
here you are within my mind
i feel you there all the damned time
i want to give up all these thoughts
our memories have begun to rot
and it's been so long, yet i still see
apart of you, inside of me
