breath in the dark like
a shadows wake
that smile on your lips makes my
heart ache
a star in the sky
 helps
me to survive
thriving in her beauty
and surrounded by her light

 a bed of roses peirces
 like a dull knife
 the thorns sharper than
this miserable life

the blood of my loved ones spreads into a dream
i couldnt cut the cord,
nor could i sew the seam
the hem is left untended
and the past pours into you
as all these peices shatter
i know it must be through

the dangers of my
 darkness
lurk in unuttered despair
waiting for your innocence to be broken
under my care
a longing song awaits you
 for that sedate you bring
caressing every feeling
like the sun and rain in spring

and in my head i know
that none of this is real
but in my heart
im giving in to everything i feel

as this world stops slowly
and the times begin to change
i wonder to myself
all the happiness it brings
so lonely am i now
that i remember that sweet face
my pulse begins to slow
as my mind begins to race

a moment of content
over comes a life of pain
and i fall into his arms
just to forget again

I love it. It's so sad, and full of intense wording. Really beautiful.
