i love it
late at night with you
when we both just got off work
you come in and pack a bowl
turn off the lights
and burn some candles.

then we sit there in the dark
smoking
watching it roll out of eachothers mouth
and just talking like old friends again

i love it
when i look over at the clock
1:30a.m.

and jump up into bed.
you cash the bowl and crawl in beside me

and start a conversation

another long one about the universe
you're starting to really get into
this, i know.

you are such a genius.
and i miss it so much
im glad we started being friends again

yeah,
and i love 2a.m.
when you pull me in your arms and finish off
the conversation with a kiss.

no more philosophies.
just you and me in the dark
again.

and of course i love
3a.m.
when you reach over and turn on your fan
and fall into my arms
again.

i know im so overly senitmental.
