last night,he touched me softlylike raindrops on petalsgiving life, giving breath toa single rosebud.he kissed me gentlylike sea breeze on myhair. taking me, lifting meto a certain calmness.he gazed into my eyes lovingly, like two starsthat i'm tempted towish upon just in casei learn to believe in wishesagain.i wish i did, because last night,when he touched his chest,in pain and i held my breathhoping it would make him feel better if i somehow died a little bit. i could have wished that.
