she watches him,
brushing colors
on his canvass,
running his eyes on
her face, dragging
them down to her
breasts. he kills her
with every glance,
heartbeat by heartbeat,
slowly. as she stares
at his hands stroking
the curve of her waist
onto a moment's stillness.
forever bounded.

at that moment,
she's a goddess,
and he, her beloved mortal.
and just like that.
he captured her.
body and soul.
