darling, the sun rises on
your eyes anymore. and i
dote on the tips of your
lashes like a mother does
on her first born.
i couldn't find a better way
to tell the sky about these
butterflies in my belly,
of how these wings brush
my insides everytime you
catch my eyes than with
a simple sigh.
darling, i stutter in a low
pitched voice after your lips
locked with mine,tongue tied
with a ribbon, hiding my
urge to grab you close again
with a smile. you make me
warm with your light incessantly.
do you know how beautiful
you are when you're standing
right next to me, my hand in yours,
unaware of my gaze?
it's not easy to understand how
simple it is. but the butterflies
will tell, darling.
those butterflies will tell.
