i plucked a feather from
an angel's wing.
i have a part of her now,
i own a part of her now.
but she'll never know.

angel's gone and flew,
God, help me,
my angel flew away.

with nothing but a
feather to my name,
she glided across the
world,
leaving a feather
to my name.

my angel, blessed is she,
left a part of her with me.
but she'll never know.

angel's gone and flew.
i love her,
but she'll never know.

It's such a strange feeling to hold onto a part of someone and have them never know. Simple and lovely write.
