You define the heartbeats
successively thumping
in my chest that's essential
to my blood flow, an avalanche
of Type O red molten lava.

you study me like
fossils underground,
digging deep into
my jagged bones.
i saw your eye through
the microscope, mega-eyelashes
blinking.

you solve me like an
algebraic equation,
where n is the number
of times i cried wolf,
divided by m, the number
of times i choked
on the truth. what is x?

you explain me like
philosophy, quoting
one philosopher a day.
depending on my mood.
i would rather get a
fortune cookie and eat
my fortune and throw the
cookie away.

if(n>x);
printf("voidn");
clrscr();
you should know by now that
i am not programmable.
but i will self-destruct
if you push the wrong button.

then, soon you'll be studying
my cold motionless corpse,
dissecting me like a frog
dead-drunk on formalin.

raw and deep; a science of the mind meets a body meltdown in periodic poetry, and what the bajunkas I'm saying here I don't know...but I liked this infinitely more than your last post....I'm cheeky, yes. Top notch biznizz!

I wouldn't say powerful... It's cold. Admirably so. Defensive. I liked it.
