When every word is sealed with a kiss
when every kiss is measured in heartbeats
per minute
and when every minute floats by like a hundred
swans on the lake of your existence

You'll know it's real, the poets' kiss

the trees bow down to the grass as if they are humbled
the winds whisper rumors that only the night owls could hear
it's a language the deaf could comprehend
and the mute could articulate

and when their lips meet

the moon shines on them
and the stars dance with delight
so much as the flowers bloom in joyous winds

exploring each other's soft horizons
with more and more passion,
enough to fill these empty rainbows
with glorious colors of content
and spark the fires within their love-laced fingertips.

so let's you and me create such beauty tonight.
