From the corner of my eye
I saw your sweat drip
from your temple
and the way you tried
to wipe it off was
just as graceful as salty water
on sand
you were leaning on the wall
just like i was
playfully devouring the
cigarette in your hand
i tried not to look
but i had this strong urge to
and i had no choice but to be
enslaved by it
you caught my stare
and you stayed there for quite a while
and boy, we held on longer
you opened my mind in such a way
that had left me wanting to stay
glued to my wall , i was
you flowed into me
through optical electricity
and shook my whole being
even for just that moment
then it just had to happen
the cigarette in your hand,
as if on cue,
broke the intensity of your stare
as it slipped from between your fingers
.....
strangers we were that day
strangers we still were on the morrow
but
right there i came
just by making love with your eyes
