all this time,
without seeing your face,
somehow, i knew today would be different,
not once, but twice i found you today,
and i swear we'll work things out this time.

no more blushing,
no more tripping,
no more stumbling, stuttering talk.
i will speak,
giving voice to my feelings,
and i swear we'll work things out this time.

your presence makes my hands shake,
your smile makes me weak in the knees,
your speech makes my voice catch in my throat
the sight of you makes my heart skip a beat,
and i swear we'll work things out this time.

no more games,
no more embaressments,
no more near kisses,
or near words spilling out of my mouth,
they will come out,
and i swear we'll work things out this time.

i swear we'll work things out this time.
