When you left you took my life,

It seemed to cut me like a knife.

Now you're gone and so's my heart,

I watched as you tore it all apart.

Since you've been gone I feel crazy,

Everything in my life has become hazy.

To add some insult to this injury,

You finally took my sanity.

Love is...the remedy, the melody, the poison, and the pain...i liked this, though i think you could more elegantly express your emotions without the constraints of rhyme ~kristy
