You tore my heart from my chest and,

Laid it on the ground.

For all the world to see and crush,

Not to make another sound.

Now I walk this world alone and cold,

It was all your plan.

Destined to walk myself down that empty road,

This is how I must live my life's span.

Never fated to meet another on this road forlorn,

And love them with my broken heart.

I take a look back and realize my past is past,

I must keep going and find a new start.

But first I must turn and head on back,

And retrieve my bloody heart.
