As the darkness crosses over me,
I feel there is nothing left of me.

In the light there was a ghost,
Of something called a host.

In the darkness I feel no pain,
And I can see the start of rain.

The host in the light calls to me,
But I fear that comfort will never be.

The darkness is my home,
And in it I am free to roam.

Calling, calling without a chance,
In the light I see no acceptance.

In the darkness I feel free.
To be who I'm ment to be.
Safe from the pain of reality.
