Random Poetry

Some random little things I couldn't quite bring to a larger poem

Nightmares laced with blood and poison, just around the doors of death

Under arrows' fire, star struck, beneath Mars and Venus love

But what am I to do?
He's gone from sight and here he is
No time to separate love and death,
Wants and needs
I surely must find my mind

Halo encircling a moonlit sky

I am continually disappointed
If I lower my expectations
Then will I be truly happy?

Let me pour my sing song philosophies onto paper
Lest they be swept under the rug
By a broken heart, spirit, and soul

Misconception is my daily ritual, routine, and guiding light

I feel my heart beating
You're far from gone
I can't rest
Till you're found

Speak things to me
No one else can hear
Whisper gently
Drained into my ear
Lies and truths
Oaths and schemes
Broken promises
And all life's dreams

If life is living to the fullest with no regrets
Someone step up
And tell me
That you've done just that

May music drown your sorrows and bitching

From humble beginnings and great pressures are jewels of people made

And it's only here
I'm broken into
Fragmented lines
Dripping emotion
Clever no more
See my bones
The inside
What do they say?

I want to meet someone who has never cried
And tell them they're hollow on the inside

Words are meant to be spoken
Promises are meant to be broken
Lies are just a token
Of the truth

Show me how to let go
Tell me how to leave
