Laughter slip slides away

No pleasure in pain
or even a good day

I smile less and less
I always feel depressed

I must feel pleasure in feeling this way
or I am more than dumb?

Sometimes I feel so alone, I cry for my mum
I long to be home or a kid again
None of this is even sain!

I am not the person I thought I would be
Washed out and tired at 23

In the mirror I look and see
more wrinkles and less of me.
