you opened my eyes
I opened your heart
you let me in
I shut you out
were apart now
but what if fate aligns us once again
will you fall like a brick again?
and will I be able to walk away?
If I had to make the choice again would it be too late?

...something is still missing and you know it

...the longing continues...

Life is beautiful... sometimes it seems there are holes in the sky. places where people, events, memories mark the celestial canopy like the walls of a bedroom in a vacant house... marked by nails that once hung those pictures that were the first thing someone saw each morn and one of the last each night. holes in the sky, where someone fell, where something was, where something happened, and these dark spots out shine all the remaining stars. Perhaps these holes are all the larger when what was there falls like a brick. I like the subtle metaphor embedded in the above, and all the opposition.
