I live a life of love gone wrong
I sing a song of broken dreams
I dance to the music of a non existant band
I march to the beat of a fantasy drum

I take up space but am a ghost
I love in shades of grey and black
I walk and yet leave no footprints
I chase the light but have no shadow

I bleed no blood, but tortured regrets
I am a spirit caught on the wind
I am numb but feel both pain and lust
I feel heartache though I have no heart

I am a conundrum, not of this world
I am not seen, but seen through
I live a life invisible, I love in pain
I am the shadow of a lost girl

She gave up fighting and I am left behind
Help her return, this life of death is no life at all
Not for her. laughter and exuberance should not become this
Help her return to this world.
Help me.

I enjoyed this. Your conundrums were quite thought provoking. Thank you. -Saeth-
