My life slips from my fingers
Snaking away from my broken body
Slow death for the treacherous bitch
Who torments regularly and expects endless forgiveness
Which you stopped giving

You are the love of my life
My world is ending apocalyptically
With the absence of you, my love
I blame myself almost entirely, almost but not quite
For I was not alone as you know

I said many times I was yours
Pushed the guy away again and again
Did he leave? Of course not.
He got me drunk and dragged me into depths I never saw
Made me believe you were the evil

But you weren’t, never were
He was. The devil in disguise
Dragging me from you.
Getting me drunk, making me see you as a villin
A cretin unworthy of my bounty

So he took it. I allowed it
We are both to be blamed
For the life I no longer have
For the love I lost, unwittingly and un willingly
I would have told you my love

Had he not reached you first
Filled your head with vile lies
Untruths that you believed
I cheated I know
In my heart I know
That is what makes this so heartbreaking
I should have said no
Not given into fear
Desire
Lust

I love you
